Benjamin Leekton of Mason town Fayette County Pennsylvania was born October 14 1821 and died October 31 3:15 AM at his daughter Mrs GI Groninger’s home near Silver Lake. He married Mariah Triggenbotham in 1840s and had twelve children. six sons and six daughters two spouses predeceased him. The family moved from Ohio to Brownsville then Indiana in 1874 where he died on the farm southeast of Silver Lake. He joined the German Baptist church in 1845 and remained a lifelong member.
