Warsaw Boys Drowned In Tippecanoe Lake Tragedy
Morris Gar and Bernard Minear two Warsaw high school seniors drowned at Tippecanoe lake ten miles northeast of Warsaw during a Tuesday picnic. They went swimming after warning, disappeared, and were found in thirty six feet of water near each other. Both were eighteen and among Warsaw's popular youths. Gar was to graduate with honors and Minear was the son of ex deputy Sheriff George Minear.

John Bilger born November 10 1830 in Washingtonville Ohio died May 14 1911 at Silver Lake Indiana aged 80 years 6 months 4 days. He married Kezia Loop December 17 1857 and they had one daughter. The Bilger family moved to Silver Lake in 1872 and remained there. His father and mother and four sisters preceded him in death. he is survived by his wife.

Milford horse killed by train near Big Four track
A valuable horse belonging to A. L. Brown of Milford, driven by Margarie Brown with friend Neva Betz, was struck and killed by a passing Big Four engine while out for a drive Sunday evening.
