Ancient trunk linked to Washington in Indiana history
In a long local feature, a worn hair trunk once used by George Washington during surveying tours is traced from Virginia to Kentucky, Indiana, and finally back to Wabash County. Owned via the Stephenson and Clark families, the relic has journeyed through generations with notes on Ford, Weems, and early American history.
