Doctor Webber, among Warsaw’s oldest practicing physicians, died suddenly last evening while entering town aboard an interurban car. The event shocked local residents and medical colleagues who described him as a devoted clinician and community servant.
Last Saturday evening at eight o clock in Wabash Mr S T Bash of Wabash and Miss Mary Hemman of Silver Lake were married by Rev G B Work in the couple s new home prepared for occupancy by the bride and groom. Relatives and friends extend best wishes for happiness and prosperity. Mrs A D Hemman mother of the bride and Mrs Walter Hemman attended.
The Ladies Aid Society of the M. E. Church met at Mrs. Frank Jaques on Tuesday afternoon. Children led a literary program that was well received. The next gathering is set for May 7 at Mrs. J. S. Marsh’s home. NorRIE MCKRILL Secretary.

C. E. Stout tendered resignation as cashier of the Commercial State Bank to take effect August 1. William H. Kern was chosen to fill the vacancy. Stout will serve as Kosciusko County Clerk beginning November 1, 1907 after eight years as cashier and a brief Texas trip. Kern, a longtime teacher and farmer, is praised for integrity and business ability.
A man, returning home to find furniture on the porch and kitchen disarray, kicked a framed motto reading God Bless Our Home in anger, according to witnesses. No further injuries reported.
At least two hundred people visited the new park last Sunday enjoying the pleasant weather and noting early improvements. A band performed for a cheering crowd along the shore and around the lake area, with visitors expressing favorable impressions.
