Suicide attempt ends with rescue at Leckrone home

Solomon Leckron of Columbia City attempted death by hanging at his brother S P Leckrone's home southeast of town. After his wife found him and his sister-in-law cut the strap, the man revived and was taken to Warsaw for treatment. He is about sixty eight and had a recent stroke left him weak in mind.

Bennie Drudge reports contracts signed for 156.5 acres of pickles, signaling a bumper crop and substantial earnings for the Reed Murdock group. The Silver Lake salting plant sent a representative to a Chicago convention with managers from 28 stations across Michigan Wisconsin Indiana. Infant Dies on McCrellus Brooks Farm Inquest Held
