Swihart Family Reunion Near Roann Attended

W A Swihart joined a Swihart family reunion at the home of David and Mrs Swihart near Roann last Sunday. Five brothers were present with other relatives except Mrs W A Swihart who was sick and could not attend. The parents are about 71 years old, with only a few days between them.

L W Witter from southeast of town attended Macy’s Poland China hog sale. The event drew stockmen from across the state and Illinois, with 2230 hogs sold. Prices ranged from 25 dollars to 15600 dollars, and Majestic Perfection fetched a 4400 dollar half interest. Witter secured 40 head for his herd.
