Mrs. S H Newson of Decatur Alabama endured three years of severe liver kidney and stomach troubles with pain and near death. She credits Electric Bitters with a miraculous improvement and complete recovery. The Corner Drug Store guarantees the remedy at 50 cents.
A switch operation at Goshen railroad yards Friday night ended in a fatal accident as a worker was struck by moving freight cars. Rescue crews responded to the scene and transported the injured man to a local hospital where he died. Authorities opened an investigation into the incident.
L. C. Beigh died after a body was cut in two. He expired within thirty minutes though he retained consciousness for a period. Police and witnesses reported the grisly scene and awaited further investigation.
Remains of Lawrence Calvin Beigh known as Ready were returned to Claypool after a fatal accident in Goshen when he was fatally injured while attempting to couple cars on the Big Four yards Saturday night. He died about a half hour after the incident. Beigh, age 30, lived in Claypool with ties to Wabash and Warsaw. he was a Maccabee, former telegraph operator, and a well respected brakeman. Funeral services were held at the M B Church with Maccabee rites. He leaves a wife Mildred Walton Beigh and daughter Marie.
