Doc Brown Wins Pardon in Old Wooster Plot Tale
From the North Manchester Journal comes the tale of James Wiggins and Doc Brown involved in the 1893 Wooster Ohio plot to kill Mackey for life insurance. Brown, the tool of a gang, was sentenced to 15 years after turning state's evidence and has just been pardoned and released to his Pleasant Township family. Wiggins remains imprisoned in Columbus, seeking release with no success yet.
