They traveled about 2500 miles with little trouble aside from a broken fan belt and one tire.
Harold Blosser three years old of Gus and Mrs Blosser was reported kidnapped near their home but later found safe on the right running board of a car driven by G A McClure of Warsaw. The boy had wandered onto the vehicle during repairs and rode to Barker before McClure returned him to his parents. He was dirty and dusty but appeared to have enjoyed the trip.
During the first five months of the year Cook County Chicago reported 272 deaths from auto accidents, averaging nearly two deaths daily. Officials warn the numbers may grow as summer arrives.
Miss Ina Stout principal of East Ward school in Warsaw has accepted a position as critic teacher for primary grades training at North Manchester college. She began duties Tuesday for a six week summer course.
Mrs. Charles Raber visited her father O L Leonard in Indianapolis last Sunday and found him much improved since last week. Her aunt Miss Addie Leonard of Warsaw accompanied them. Leonard’s condition shows rapid recovery and hopes rise he may return home soon.

William Moon died at his home near Burket last week after a two year illness with complications. The funeral was held Friday and burial followed in the Palestine cemetery. Moon was nearly 80 years old.
Karl Parker of Claypool underwent a tonsil removal operation at Wardaw hospital last Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Artemus Ward of Hutchinson Kansas visited Silver Lake for two days. Ward, son of the late Dr. Ward, recalled local residents and historic businesses from more than forty years ago. His father died about five years ago and his mother remains living in fair health. Ward, a linotype operator for the Hutchinson News, and his wife were bound for Cleveland to attend a convention.
The Walter Loucks family will move to Pierceton this week and live there for the summer. Mrs. Loucks is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Noah Frantz. Mr Frantz will begin work on the new school building and Mr Loucks will assist with the project.
