The Yates family reunion will be held at Mrs. Esther Yates home in South Silver Lake tomorrow July 4. Living sons and daughters plan to attend for the first time since childhood. Attendees include William and wife with son Clarence of New Decatur Alabama Charles and wife with son Vivian of Paducah Kentucky John of New York arrived Tuesday. Mrs. Watson and son of Chicago and Mrs. Lackey husband and son of Kansas City expected to arrive today.
Louis Deligit, three year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Samuel Doutt of Elxhart, remains in critical condition after a fall from a veranda three weeks ago. She suffered internal injuries, a broken collar bone, and strained neck and shoulder ligaments. Mrs Doutt is a daughter of G K Smith of this place.
A person writes of not knowing when they can return to Organ and hopes to visit face to face if wealthy enough to spend two or three weeks in Idaho. Frank Hoffman of Warsaw, a junk dealer, was convicted last week in Kosciusko Circuit Court of receiving stolen goods and fined 3100 with two years disfranchised and one day in jail. He was arrested Tuesday for a third similar offense, with potential life sentence if found guilty, since thrice convicted can yield habitual criminal status.

Mrs. A L Adamson was summoned to the Harter home north of Axton last Saturday due to her sick niece Mrs Harter. Mr Adamson went Sunday and he and Mrs Adamson returned Monday as Mrs Harter showed improvement.

The county commissioners refused a liquor license after a remonstrance containing 26 more names than the township voting majority was filed. The township will remain dry for the next two years.
