Dr W S Letter Takes Own Life In Claypool Home

Dr W S Letter 44, prominent Claypool physician, committed suicide by hanging at his home Thursday of last week. His daughter Mary found the body after his mental decline worsened over a year. Survived by wife, two sons aged 19 and 7, and a 17-year-old daughter. Funeral from M E Church in Warsaw, burial Oakwood Cemetery.

K P Lodge Cleared Debts With Celebratory Session

The K of P lodge held a Monday evening gathering to mark the cancellation of all indebtedness on their building. Over forty members attended as the lodge now owns the premises free of encumbrance from the ground up.

The funeral for Mrs Bartley Summe was held at the Germantown church last Sunday. Born in Germany 67 years ago, she came to this country with her husband 32 years ago. She leaves three sons two daughters and several grandchildren. her husband passed away several years ago.

J A Leckrone of Jonesboro reports his wife suffered a serious erysipelas outbreak starting from a small oil in the nose. Within a day the infection spread over her face and ear risking sight, leaving peeled skin as she improves and is considered out of danger.
