Charles Hartsough of the George Leffel home southeast of town sustained a severe cut to his foot while cutting wood last week. A physician attended and dressed the wound, which is painful but not serious.
Now located at Manila Arba Gall son of Mr and Mrs Jehu Gall residing southeast of town joined the army during the summer and is presently stationed at Manila. All locals received a letter from him the first of the week.
The Strawbridge Conner evangelist team from Lima leads a series of revival meetings at a Sidney Christian church drawing strong interest and participation from local residents.
Plans finalize for former President William H. Taft to be guest of honor at a banquet for Indiana Law School students at the Claypool Hotel in Indianapolis on January 21. He will be principal speaker at the foundation day exercises at Tudiana University and then visit law students.

State authorities warn all automobile owners they will arrest any driver operating a vehicle without the 1915 auto license. Licenses should have been renewed or issued after the year began, but many have neglected the matter across towns and cities.
