President Wilson urges nationwide Red Cross membership during the week ending Christmas Eve. Families joining will receive a service flag with a Red Cross emblem. Township chair Prof J D Line has organized volunteers to begin the campaign on schedule.
Tuesday evening relatives and friends gathered at Ernie Carr's home to honor his birthday with socializing contests and snacks. Ezra Bunk presented Mr Carr with a keepsake to mark the day.
