He was fined $1 and costs and sentenced to ten days in jail for obstructing the highway with intent to wreck an automobile driven by Charles Olinger of North Manchester near a church east of Silver Lake on Sunday evening November 17.

Obituary of Creighton M. Oldfather

Creighton M. Oldfather died at his home southeast of town after long illness from stomach cancer. Funeral held Monday at Rose Hill Church with Lutheran and M E ministers present. He was born February 16 1851 in Pleasant township Indiana and died November 30 1907 at age 56 years 9 months 4 days. He leaves a widow Catharine Redeye three children Ora Smith Myrtle Groninger Wilfred and four grandchildren.
