Buggy Accident Hurls Samuel Regenos and Wife
Samuel Regenos and his wife were severely injured Tuesday forenoon when their buggy overturned near Kreiter schoolhouse on the way to a funeral at Gospel Hill church. A binder cover in a wheat field frightened the horse, but Regenos retained control and drove home. He suffered two broken ribs and facial injuries. his wife had similar bruising and possible rib damage. Milton Ball aided them inside, and Dr. Leckeone was called. Both are reported to be recovering, with the wife more seriously affected.

Fire destroys large barn on S B Whittenberger farm near Claypool
A Sunday night fire of unknown origin razed a large barn on the S B Whittenberger farm one half mile east of Claypool, causing about 2000 dollars in losses. A nearby barn was damaged but saved, as flames spread too fast to be tackled with buckets. The hay and grain were valued near 1000 dollars. the barn cost 900.
