Squire Cauffman Dies After Long Illness Near Claypool
Samuel Cauffman aged about seventy died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Samuel Bloom three miles northeast of Claypool after years of illness following a paralytic stroke. He served as Justice of the Peace for years and resigned after the stroke. Survived by two sons Henry and Albert and daughter Mrs Samuel Bloom all near Claypool plus other relatives. Funeral held Sunday at Grove Chapel Church with burial beside his late wife.
