Ex Governor J F Hanley dies after auto crash

J Frank Hanley former Indiana governor and 1916 Prohibition candidate died Sunday night from injuries after his car collided with a freight train on the Pennsylvania line near Dennison Ohio. Dr and Mrs C M Baker of Kilgore Ohio also died in the crash.

A ten day camp meeting near Claypool begins August 1 at the Simon Schultz farm three and a half miles southeast. Children kill five foot ten inch snake near town

Last Sunday the Himer Christner children living southwest of town killed a large snake measuring five feet ten inches. They found the reptile had swallowed a sizable red squirrel.
