Homecrofters Village near Phoenix and the Salt River Valley
An article describes plans for a Homecrofters Village near Phoenix Arizona, forming from the Rural Settlements Association. It outlines three ideas: national irrigation to create homes, a dedicated org to aid home seekers, and village communities with strong education and social life. It notes the Tonto Reservoir project, land amid the Salt River Valley, and five acre plots with water rights for skilled urban gardeners and poultry raisers.
