Funeral of G. Matt Snyder Held in Claypool
Funeral services for G. Matt Snyder were conducted Monday afternoon at the U B Church in Claypool with interment in the local cemetery. The 75 year old, who died Saturday at his northeast of here home after a period of declining health, was the last child of his family. Niece Miss Mahala Snyder still resides on the old home place. Rev. Noah McCoy of Frankfort led the rites.

Soldier Boy Dead Remains Brought For Burial
Private Cliff ton M Niebling stepson of George Dash died of diphtheria while at Rock Island II. His sealed casket arrived at Claypool early Friday and was buried Saturday at 2 in Claypool cemetery. He was with Company B Tenth U S Infantry and had been ill with pneumonia prior to the diphtheria.
