A speaker denounces saloons as hell holes and a curse on the nation. He warns that liquor degrades morals, ruins families, and fuels crime, urging Christians to oppose the rum traffic and protect children from its deadly reach.
A quiet home ceremony took place at Mr. and Mrs. W. D. McKee residence on April 5. Estella McKee wed Lyle Herendeen in a ceremony led by Rev. B. G. Bowman. Bridesmaid Stella Herendeen and groomsman W. R. McKee attended. The couple will reside with Lyle’s parents north of town.

Indictments also name Miller Heckman and Poor for misdemeanor counts. Ex-Recorder Joseph R Williams is indicted for misdemeanor. Indictments target county officials under 1895 statutes.
