Hobart telegram announces the death of Mrs Charlow Henderson wife of S De Henderson at Hobart. She was about 63, died of heart trouble after a week of illness. Survived by husband four sons and two daughters. The Henderson family long resided here before moving to Beloit Wisconsin.

The funeral for Monroe Kreiter took place Sunday forenoon at the Middle Eed River church five miles east of here with a large turnout of relatives and friends. Rev. T. Pallbearers were soldier comrades Socke Cozier Jaques Smith Bowen Leckrone and Brush, with the first four from Kreiter s regiment.

Monroe Kreiter born June 19 1838 in Stark County Ohio died April 9 1914 aged 75 years 9 months 22 days. He moved with his parents to Kosciusko County Indiana and died on the same farm. He married Elizabeth Clackston November 25 1860, father of seven children five daughters two sons. Surviving names include Verlitia Alice Armey Verlitia died in infancy Ella Kerlin Albert Kreiter Charles Kreiter with residences listed in Wabash Silver Lake Moline and North Manchester.
