Legion Auxiliary Plans Potluck Dinner And Elections
The American Legion Auxiliary will serve a potluck supper at 6 50 p.m. Saturday at the United Veterans Center for members and guests. Betty Rice begins a second term as president, with new officers Shirley Rayl Mary Granger Marvel Scherotter and Mary LaFond. Barbara Durham succeeds Blanche White who died recently after long service. Post Adjutant Maurice Granger discussed the Fort Bayard Memorial project and donations toward a 4000 goal. Honey Kuester will attend a School of Instruction in Roswell Sept 20 21. The next meeting is Oct 16 at the United Veterans Center.

Faulty Computer Delays State Paychecks and Destroys Checks
