Secretaries Hold Regular Meeting In Bayard
The Manana Chapter of the National Secretaries Association held its regular monthly gathering at Mrs. Angie Garcia's Bayard home with President Marge Pruit presiding. A report on the FSA Chapter showed 26 members, far below the usual 50. Initiation and officer installation are set for November 6 at Library 41 Cobre High School. Dorothy Simms and Marge Pruit will oversee. A Region IT Conference report was presented by Marge Pruit and Myrtle Powe. An Alamogordo officers meeting is planned for November 11. After adjournment, Dorothy Simms led a England tour via photos and booklets. Dorothy, Ray, and Karen Simms traveled to England in July and August. Next meeting will be at Lupe Phillips home for a program on International Women's Week.
