Body recovered after drowning at Elephant Butte Lake
Divers pulled the body of 37 year old Paul Bersdall from 40 feet of water after he fell from a small boat trying to push away a houseboat at Elephant Butte Lake near here. He was from El Paso Texas. Separately New Mexico State University will install a 24 inch telescope at Magdalena Park near Las Cruces next summer to support stellar and astrophysical research.
