Gas Co Borrows 5 Million to Buy Gas from Tenneco
Gas Co. of New Mexico secures $5 million from the state Investment Council to back its long term gas purchase from Tenneco fields in northwest New Mexico. Swine Flu Vaccine Is Ready for New Mexico
State epidemiologist Dr Jonathan Mann says New Mexico will distribute swine flu vaccine to 40 county health offices early next week. The vaccine available today is for high risk groups only and amounts to about one third of total doses. Additional shipments are expected this month and enough vaccine should reach high risk individuals by late October. Mann notes overall supply will increase to meet demand. The campaign targets those 65 and older and people with chronic illnesses. A later November start is planned for broader high risk groups.
