Highland Vandals Arrested at Highland High School
An Albuquerque Public Schools spokesman says three Highland High School students were charged with criminal damage to public property after vandals used fire hoses over the weekend. Damage estimated at 45000 to 50000 dollars. Classes were canceled Monday for cleanup. The students were arrested Tuesday off campus and released to their parents.

James K. Baldwin 73 died at Ft. Bayard Medical Center on Thursday September 25 1975. Born Booneville Iowa he studied at Simpson College and Iowa State College. He taught school coached sports and later managed a livestock feed firm in Jefferson Iowa before retiring. He lived in Silver City with wife Blythe and son James W. Baldwin. Out of state memorial services planned.
