Silver City burglars and trespass case linked to sleepless night
A sleepless night led to police action at a Silver City home. George Reggina, 33, of New York City, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and criminal damage with a $50 fine and 30 days in jail for damage. Johnny Jauregui, 18, and Ysidro Morales, 18, both of Silver City, faced trespass and drunk and disorderly charges. Jauregui was bound over on $200 bond and later pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly with a $25 fine. Morales was bound over to District Court on $300 bond.

Robert M. Jordan, 72, arrived four months ago from Oklahoma and died Monday in a local rest home. A retired machinist, he was laid to rest today at Memory Lane Cemetery after a Curtis Mortuary chapel service officiated by Rev. C.M. Henderson of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Survivors include two daughters, two sons, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
