Jemez Springs Fatal Motorcycle Crash Kills Two
State police report two Albuquerque residents died in a weekend motorcycle crash on New Mexico 126 four miles northwest of Jemez Springs. Kevin O Leary and Cathy Sanborn, both 20, were identified as the riders. Police say the motorcycle lost control on a downhill grade, left the road, struck a guard rail, and tumbled into a rocky wooded area. Albuquerque AP reports eight planes searched Sunday from Tucumcari to Amarillo for a homemade plane missing on a flight from Enid Oklahoma to Van Nuys California. Pilot John Bill age 57 of Enid and a Curtiss Hawk copy plane is involved. New Mexico CAP joined the effort Friday and focus remains on Tucumcari area based on fuel estimates.
