Daslyv Grant County Chapter No 1496 AALR P holds its regular meeting at the Chino Club in Hurley at 1 p.m. March 21. The entry notes poet Robert Frost was born in San Francisco in 1874 and moved to Massachusetts in 1884 after his father died.
President Carter proposed a Palestinian homeland and phased borders amid calls for defensible borders for Israel. The remarks surprised aides and risk complicating future Arab-Israeli talks, prompting quick White House assurances to Israel that no final settlement formula had been decided.

Silver Consolidated School District announces pre registration for the 1977 78 kindergarten program from March 22 to May 2. Eligible children must be five by September 1 1977. First 40 per school attend morning session 8 50 to 11 20, next 40 attend afternoon session 12 30 to 3 00. Bus schedules to be announced.
The March gathering at Mrs Annie Harsh home with co host Mrs Kathryn Littlefield drew 11 members. New member Beth Graham joined. President Chris tine Billings led the business meeting with acting secretary Mary Rockenbach. A March 23 staff meeting will prepare for the State Conference in Las Cruces in June. A May fair in Gough Park will raise funds. Grace Bagby celebrated her 92nd birthday. A beauty aids demonstration followed lunch.
Women in Southwest New Mexico plan their monthly Aglow Fellowship luncheon at Holiday Inn with reservations due by March 23. Speaker Mrs Jack Conner from El Paso Church will discuss faith and music, with special performers Cindy Maxwell Paul Maxwell and Doug Marcum. Funds noted include 5388,900 for Albuquerque park area development by the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation.
