Former Silver City Residents Die In Plane Crash In Mexico
Former Silver City residents Mr and Mrs Robert C Kirchman died in a plane crash near Maguarichi Chihuahua Mexico over the weekend. The Cessna with four aboard crashed into a 250 foot ravine during takeoff. Kirchman led KSN Mining with operations at Grants Silver City and Lordsburg. Surviving children include Robert William and Peggy. Funeral plans tentatively set for 2 pm Wednesday at the Church of the Good Shepherd Silver City.
