GEO Board Sets Special Meeting on OEO Funding

Johnson names Ramsey Clark in double SCOTUS move

Albert C. Grable Former Fort Bayard Resident Dies

Albert C. Grable, born March 4, 1877 in Brownsville Pennsylvania, died February 18 at the U S S Veterans Administration Hospital in Whipple Arizona. A Spanish American War and World War I veteran, he was active in American Legion and VFW at Fort Bayard. Survivors include widow Ruth Grable of Prescott Arizona and many nieces and nephews.

House Debates Powell Censure Expulsion and Exclusion

Fire School Slated for Bayard Area Departments

Bayard area fire departments will begin a five week training course March 4 conducted by the state fire marshal. Hosted by Bayard Fire Department, attendees include Silver City Central and Santa Rita departments studying pump operation maintenance first aid rescitation and general firefighting procedures using actual equipment. But Baca fire protection instructor will lead the sessions and inspect departments by day.
