General Fund Revenue Near Projection Increase

New Mexico's general fund revenues for the year ending June are forecast to exceed earlier projections by a small amount. Through 11 months, total receipts were 5413338 million, up 348 476 million or 13.3 percent from last year, with June collections needing at least 40.5 million to meet the projection. The rise is tied to a stronger economic recovery boosting motor vehicle excise taxes by 31.2 percent.

HUD awards 41.9 million grant for Las Cruces renewal
