Back In Action At Sandia Peak Tramway After Rescue
Sandia Peak Tramway near Albuquerque resumed operation less than 24 hours after 42 passengers were rescued. Inspectors found no damage and all systems functioning. one car was 650 feet above ground, another 250 feet, with lower passengers lowered by rope sling and upper car lifted by a helicopter before return to service.
