Kaltenborn dies at 86 dean of radio commentators
H V Kaltenborn, famed CBS and NBC news analyst, died at Roosevelt Hospital at age 86 after a heart attack in New York visiting his son. He pioneered on air analysis in 1922 and covered four presidential campaigns through 1956.
