In the Probate Court of Grant County New Mexico final hearing is set for July 16 1973 at 10 a.m. for the estate of Gertrud K Luck deceased. The Board of Education of The Silver City Consolidated Schools Grant County New Mexico and the Chief of Public School Finance Division announce a public hearing to review the 1973 74 budget. The hearing will be Friday June 8 1973 at 2 30 p m at the Silver High School Auditorium 32nd and Silver Streets attendees urged.
Raymond E. Lowry and Kristine Corbly wed at First United Methodist Church in a May ceremony officiated by Rev. Alfred Pace. The couple and families from Silver City, Phoenix, El Paso, Las Cruces and other locales attended a reception in Fellowship Hall. The bride, a Silver High School graduate, wore a chiffon lace gown with carnations and orchids in her bouquet, while the groom is a 1968 graduate.
Dr Paul H Rodriguez, a genetics parasitology expert and Creighton, New Mexico, Rhode Island trained scientist, joins UTSA College of Sciences and Mathematics as assistant professor. UTSA will offer graduate classes this summer in temporary facilities with seven buildings in phase one, housing up to 10 000 students on permanent campus. Rodriguez's career spans University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston and prior posts at Notre Dame and St Mary's College, with Fulbright Hays and NIH fellowships and numerous publications. He and wife Lottie have two children Karl Andrew and Elena Patricia.
Fullbright told Arkansas AFL-CIO leaders that Nixon and Agnew should resign unless the president can restore confidence in government. He cited Watergate as a crisis of confidence yet a chance to rebirth checks and balances, and said impeachment is not desired if leadership can be reestablished. He called Watergate a chance for Congress and citizens to reaffirm responsibility.

A group of adoptive and foster parents met at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Phil Cook to discuss adoption needs, problems, and possibilities. Norman Smith, an adoption worker from Las Cruces, outlined the prospects and issues in New Mexico.
