The Methodist Men's Club announces musical entertainment for the Chuck Wagon Dinner on Wednesday. The Young Peoples Choir will perform ballads hymns and spirituals from 6 to 7 p.m. on stage with two western guitarists and other instruments under Mrs William Bolton and Jindi Reese. Dinner service runs on the church parking lot opposite College Avenue from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ruben G. Gomez 55 formerly of Bayard and Silver City died in Los Angeles California. Funeral and burial followed a military service. Survived by widow Thelma Gomez of Los Angeles and five children. Bayard and Silver City attendees included Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hernandez and family, Mrs. Alice Molinar, Len Gomez, and Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Adams of Tucson Arizona.

Funeral rites for Rafael C. Trujillo a long time Faywood resident who died July 26 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital Deming were held at San Jose Catholic Church Faywood. Burial followed at Faywood Cemetery. Rosary was said Sunday at Wheeler Mortuary Deming. Survivors include wife Pelestora and children Ralph Jr and Bertha.

Funeral and burial services for Joe W. Moore of Silver City were held July 25 in Clovis. He died July 22 at Santa Fe Hospital after about two months of illness. A former Santa Fe Railway carman in Hurley and World War II veteran, he belonged to the Caoiies honor society of the VFW. Survivors include his widow Jessie Moore Arenas Valley a son and three sisters and four brothers with relatives across Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington.
