Richard Franks Trial Opens in Silver City

Trial opened today in the Sixth Judicial District Court for Richard Franks of Silver City. Franks faces embezzlement charges from a Grand Jury indictment while employed at Fort Bayard Hospital. Obituary for John Trevarrow 93 Returns From Rest Haven

John Trevarrow, 93, died at Rest Haven Nursing Home after an extended illness. A native of Houghton Michigan, he lived in the area 88 years and managed Tremarro Mercantile in Turnerville until 1968. Survivors include a daughter in Alaska, a son in New Braunfels, a sister in Phoenix, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services are pending at Curtis-Bright Funeral Home.
