Francisco Chavira aged local resident and retired Kennecott Copper employee died Friday afternoon at Hillcrest Hospital. He leaves six sons in Bayard Hurley and Phoenix, a brother and sister, 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rosary was Sunday, funeral today at Holy Family Hanover with interment in Hurley Cemetery. Edward I Moreno, 43, of Hanover died Sunday at Ft Bayard Medical Center. He worked for the state, survived by wife Norberta and six children, mother, four sisters, three brothers, and other relatives. Funeral services are pending at Curtis Bright Funeral Home.
