Georgetown Observes Bicentennial Star at Mimbres Hall
Georgetown Chapter No. 4 of the Order of the Eastern Star celebrated the nation’s bicentennial at Mimbres Masonic Hall on July 10 with about sixty attendees. Patricia Jane Young was initiated assisted by multiple family members and Chapter officers. An AP item notes Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s Kansas highway stop and a 1962 Mont Blanc tunnel milestone. District 13 visitors and Arizona dignitaries were present, with Georgetown Chapter planning to honor Reb Morris at the August 7 meeting.
