KCC Refining Workforce Pickets Across Baltimore Plant

Union members from United Steelworkers and AFL-CIO picketed the Kennecott Refining Corp plant in suburban Baltimore after a 520-strong weekend walkout as their three year contract expired. A union spokesman said workers await company word while the plant remains ready to resume negotiations. The union seeks company wide bargaining and a 2 1/2 year contract.
