Lost Boys Found Near Cochiti Dam After River Trip

Three persons died in two Sunday traffic wrecks on New Mexico highways. Jackson Barber 24 and nine month old Leonard Smith of Sanostee died in a one vehicle crash near Shiprock. Anthony E Astorga 21 of Albuquerque died when his car overturned on Interstate 25 seven miles south of Socorro. The January first check shows snow water equivalent on the Gila River watershed near the Gila snow survey. Hummingbird Saddle records 38 inches of snow with 9.5 W. Whitewater Baldy 40 inches and 10.0 W. McKnight Cabin 12 inches and 4.0 W. Compared to 1968, the first check sits near two marks versus eight.
