Twelve Million Awarded To Viet Nam Demonstrators
A federal court jury awarded 12 million dollars to about 1,200 antiwar demonstrators arrested during the May 5 1971 Capital demonstration. Communicable Diseases Rising in New Mexico for 1974
Santa Fe reports from the State Health Agency show immunization laxity across New Mexico. Pertussis reached 20 cases in 1974, up from 14 in 1973, mostly in the north, with five cases in December including four in Luna County Routhers. Diphtheria totaled 17, down from 37 in 1973, but above the five-year median of eight. most in Indians in the northwest, one unimmunized Clovis girl. A 44-year-old Columbus woman died of tetanus in December. Measles and rubella declined from 1973 totals and five-year medians.

UNM School of Medicine to Get $15000 Ambulance Training Grant
