Mrs Frances P Carrillo 75 died in El Paso Texas Wednesday evening after an extended illness. A Lordsburg New Mexico native, she lived in Grant County all her life. Husband Arcadio predeceased her in 1958. Survivors include daughter Lucille Carrillo of Las Vegas New Mexico son Edward Arthur Carrillo of Silver City and sister Mrs Ramon Castillo of Hurley New Mexico. Funeral services are pending at Curtis Bright Funeral Home.

Apodaca Seeks Rural Isolation Funding for McKinley Schools
Governor Jerry Apodaca urged lawmakers to add 568000 in state funds to Gallup McKinley County Schools for 1976 77 via a rural isolation factor change.
