New Mexicans may receive a minimum $5 rebate per person for 1975 medical expense tax relief, with seniors 65+ eligible for at least $10. State Revenue Commissioner Fred O Cheskey estimates a $7 million cost as 400000 tax returns are processed by April 16.
National Airlines plans a limited schedule on Tuesday, the first since eight attendants walked out on September 1 over pay and benefits. Flight attendants voted 674 to 210 to return to work, ending a 126 day strike that had idled 6,000 employees and reduced service.

Preliminary figures show Ronald Reagan has raised more money than Gerald Ford for the Republican presidential race. Reagan attracted about $2 million in public donations in 1975, Ford about $1.7 million, with Reagan’s pace continuing into 1976. Federal matching funds favor Reagan due to smaller individual donations, with roughly three quarters of his money matchable. Ford claims $374,000 in federal funds to Reagan’s $600,000 based on donations through last October.

ALBUQUERQUE AP A pair of former Santa Fe Downs owners Walter L. Goodwin Jr and Stewart Harvey filed suit against board chair Leonard Fruchtman and stockholder Marty J. Ewell alleging they agreed in 1973 to pay SLA&s per share after Goodwin and Harvey were relieved of liability tied to principal indebtedness to American Bank of Commerce. The price would rise to 2.10 per share if refinancing failed before February 1974. Securities remain unreleased, jeopardized by defendants actions as the track seeks financial restructuring amid a 3.7 million debt and bank deadline pressure.
