Three men sentenced to federal prison for their role in the 1964 Mississippi civil rights worker murders were freed today. Air service for the Navajo Reservation could start within months. Navajo Aviation Authority, approved by the tribal council, will rent planes to Tuba City Chinle Window Rock in Arizona and Shiprock Crownpoint in New Mexico with service to Phoenix Denver Albuquerque. The tribe will train Navajos as pilots mechanics and support staff. FAA asked to fund about 61 percent of startup costs and EDA may cover the remaining 39 percent.
