A fragmentary meditation condemns war and cruelty, warns of escalating violence, and laments moral decay. It argues humanity must curb aggression, improve relations, and confront the destructive impulses within society while pondering the limits of science and intellect against terror.
Allied forces report two American infantry companies clashed with a much larger North Vietnamese unit around Hiep Duc. Lt. Col. Cecil M. Henry said about 1,200 enemy troops moved to threaten a 3,000 refugee settlement. Heavy fire and medical evacuation challenges followed.
City Manager Harrison ordered a salary and expenditure freeze for police and fire departments pending study of future needs. The audit report was accepted with recommendations. Council approves two council meetings monthly and reviews past hearings on a Silver City brothel closure with enforcement emphasis. Deputy clerk designation for Frances Helm and transcribed police hearing testimony to Judge Hodges are approved.

Gallery West owner James Parsons expects prices from 4000 to 20000 dollars each. Works include Steep Trail Counter Attack and Trading for Moc casting. Korner died in 1998 in Interlachen New Mexico. his widow preserves the collection.
