Four Hurt in Two Separate Grant County Accidents
Rain soaked roads sent two cars into canyons in Grant County. Glenn Wooten 17 of Silver City lost control on State Road 61 eight miles south of Lake Roberts, injuring himself and one passenger, Damacio Marquez 21. In a second crash on State Road 90 near the Turnerville cutoff Manuel Rodriguez 238 of Silver City overturned, injuring Marquez and leaving the driver with minor injuries. Doctors at Hellcrest Hospital reported Marquez suffered a fractured vertebra.
