Stanford Institute backs New Mexico solar research move
The Stanford Research Institute of Menlo Park plans to aid New Mexico in proposing a national Solar Energy Research Institute in Albuquerque. SRI would finance and provide technical help and could manage the center if the proposal is accepted. Gov. Apodaca praised SRI as a major capable research group and said the aid strengthens the state task force.
