Hollywood AP reports actress Anita Louise died from a stroke during a period of illness at Parkside Park. The obituary notes she appeared in One Man and Mod Squad productions and had a long career in film and television.
AP report states Princess Margaret and Viscount Linley faced kidnapping threats. Scotland Yard alerted after a plot to seize Linley for ransom emerged. While Linley is on Easter leave, Security measures at Forest Kay in Sussex were stepped up.
Radio Havana broadcast claimed Cuba destroyed the invasion force with all fighters killed or captured within days. Reported no casualties for Castro forces, while several mercenaries were said to be eliminated or captured. Alpha 66 disputed Cuban claims, insisting guerrillas were Cuban peasants returning home to resist communism.

Mrs Suite White of Silver City and her brother Jerry G Davisson of Atlanta Ga were recent guests of Mrs White's daughter Mrs Charles B L John. They traveled from California via Orange San Diego and Borrego Springs to Silver City then on to Roswell Ruidoso and Haperman. Plans include a visit with Ben Davis son at Winter Haven Texas and other relatives in Corpus Christi Beaumont and Austin. Mrs White plans to return to Silver City in May.
