Newlyweds Mr and Mrs queyasilla Matthias Ollie Scheier reside at 1919 Alabama Street Silver City after a wedding trip to Catalina Islands and California. They wed Saturday April 15 at 10 am at Saint Vincent de Paul Church with Fr A James Milano officiating. Attendants were daughter Mrs Robert Womack of York Harbor Maine and son Charles Scheier of Prescott Arizona. A reception followed at the couple s Silver City home. Mr Scheier works for Fhelps-Dadge Tyrone.

Aulwes Wins Two Gold Medals At Southwest Regional
Bob Aulwes of Aulwes Studio won two gold medals for color photographs at the Southwest Regional convention in Fort Worth Texas. His top two prints from a four print exhibit were praised. the works were displayed in Santa Fe during the New Mexico Professional Photographers Association gathering. The National Secretaries Association Retirement Center at Vista Grande near Albuquerque opens April 23 marking NSA's first retirement center. It includes 32 studios 60 one bedrooms and 10 two bedrooms across eight fourplex units and five duplex buildings with rents from 125 to 185 dollars. A community building with adobe stucco and garden areas offers a lounge library and dining facilities. Residency has begun and full occupancy is expected within months as applications are processed.
